Box Score BELMONT, N.C. -- Liam Maxwell and Andrew Kohut each reached double figures in kills, but Mount Olive rallied for a 3-1 (18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Wednesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maxwell hit .327 with 22 kills against only six errors.
- Kohut tallied his first double-double of the season with 14 kills and a season-best 10 digs.
- Brennan Davis led the Crusaders in both assists (50) and digs (11).
- Belmont Abbey outhit the Trojans .279 to .229 and had one more dig (45 to 44). The Crusaders also had eight aces to UMO's four.
- The Crusaders started strong with a 10-3 lead out of the gate, then later pushed the lead to double digits at 20-10. UMO tried to rally with a late 5-1 run, but The Abbey took the opening set.
