HONOLULU, Hawaii --Â Belmont Abbey returns to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year -- and fourth time in school history -- when it faces fifth-ranked USC in the opening round of the Honoluolu Regional.
The Crusaders (20-5) captured their fourth Conference Carolinas championship on April 19, defeating No. 2 seed Mount Olive 3-1 in the final. Belmont Abbey has won three straight -- and 10 of the last 11 -- matches entering the tournament.
USC (19-7) earned an at-large bid after finishing third in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
Other storylines for tonight's game:
   ? Belmont Abbey earned its first ever national ranking on Monday, sitting 20th in the AVCA poll. The Crusaders had previously received votes, including most of 2026.
