MARS HILL, N.C. - Erica Dorn and the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team opened the 2020 season with a 6-1 win at Mars Hill this afternoon.  The Crusaders have now won their past three matches against the Lions.

• The Abbey won at #2 and #3 doubles by scores of 6-3
• Freshman Kayla Vaughan won the first singles match of her career - 6-2, 7-6 victory at #1 singles
• Elliott Peterson, also a freshman, won an impressive #3 singles match by scores of 6-2, 6-0
• Erica Dorn, at #5 singles, had the best score, 6-1, 6-0
