BELMONT, N.C. - The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team continued its competition in the ITA Regionals today.  Today's competition consisted of the Round of 16 and the Quarterfinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Sylvia Goldsmith lost her match 6-3, 6-3.  She had the best score among the Crusaders in the main bracket
• Madelyn Schott lost her match to the no. 4 seed 6-1, 6-2
• In the Consolation Bracket, Kayla Vaughan earned a 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 victory to advance to the Quarterfinals
• Carlie Davis, Talia Semaan, and Laura Seib also made it to the Quarterfinals
