BELMONT, N.C. - Riley Ellingson and Teagan McNamara got the win at #1 doubles, but the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 contest to Augusta University this afternoon.  The Abbey now stands at 1-3 on the season.  The Jaguars moved to 4-1.

The day started out well when The Abbey got the first doubles win of the day.  McNamara was also the leading Crusader in singles play, where she competed at the #1 spot.

Belmont Abbey will host a double-header on Saturday, February 10.  They will host Johnson C. Smith University and Tusculum College that day.
