BELMONT, N.C. - Senior Alex Weber earned a shutout at #4 singles, and the Crusader women's tennis team earned a 9-0 shutout against Pfeiffer University this afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center. The Crusaders are now 3-3 on the year. Pfeiffer is now 1-4.
Belmont Abbey started off the day by getting a 3-0 sweep at doubles, highlighted by an 8-0 shutout by Erica Dorn and Erika Noblett at #3 doubles. Teagan McNamara won the first singles match by a score of 6-0, 6-1. Weber earned a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at #4 singles. Blair Boatright finished off the match with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout.
The Crusaders will visit Anderson University (SC) on Saturday, February 24 for a 1 p.m. match.
