The Belmont Abbey men's volleyball team snapped a three match losing streak with a five set win over Emmanuel College. The Abbey improves to 7-3 (4-3 Conference Carolinas) while Emmanuel drops to 4-8 overall (2-8 Conference Carolinas). Belmont Abbey won the first two sets 25-18, 25-17 but dropped the third and fourth 23-25 and 21-25. The Crusaders charged in the fifth taking it 15-8.

Senior outside hitter Nolan Albrecht led the charge with 21 kills on 48 attacks while senior setter Derek Sullivan dished out 46 assists. On the night, the Abbey hit a .385 clip with six service aces. Senior middle blocker Justin Snyder helped from behind the service line with two.

On the night, Belmont Abbey blocked nine of the Lion's attacks.

Belmont Abbey is back in action on Saturday at 7:00PM against North Greenville College in the Wheeler Center.
