The doubles team of Erika Noblett and Meghan Philp earned a doubles victory at the number two spot for the Crusaders women's tennis team's only victory in an 8-1 loss to the visiting Mount Olive Trojans this afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.

Noblett and Philp, who are primarily members of the Abbey's women's soccer team, scored an 8-6 victory in the second position.

In singles play, Philp was the only Crusader to go past two sets, as she lost 1-6, 6-4, 7-10 to Paulina Delgado in the fourth spot.

Belmont Abbey is back in action Friday when it hosts Southern Wesleyan.
