The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team posted a 6-3 win over visiting UVA Wise this afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center. The Crusaders are now 3-6 on the year.

The Crusaders won two of three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches, two of those by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Belmont Abbey led 2-1 after doubles as the Crusaders forfeited number three.

At singles, Katharine Miller, Alex Weber, Erika Noblett and Meghan Philp all posted straight set wins, with Noblett and Weber earning perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores. Weber's win sealed the match.

Belmont Abbey is back in action Tuesday when hosting Young Harris.
