Tonight, the Crusaders offense hit just .178, but the story was at the net, as the Abbey recorded 22 block assists and one solo as it held Lees-McRae to a .012 attack. Juniors Justin Snyder and Derek Sullivan both logged six block assists, with classmates Nolan Albrecht and Dustin Buell adding four each. Robert Nixon and Anthony Pippen both had one. Albrecht had the block solo.

Libero Jon Lowenhagen's six digs led the Crusaders with Albrecht adding five.

Offensively, Albrecht's six kills paced the Crusaders. Nixon added three. Sullivan handed out 22 assists.

Finishing with five service aces, the second-highest total of the year, the Crusaders were led by Pippen's two. Albrecht, Snyder and Brennan Beyner each had one.

Belmont Abbey, which hasn't played at home since February 6, will now begin a three match homestand starting Tuesday night when welcoming Barton to the Wheeler Center. First serve is 7:00.
