The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team lost 8-1 at Newberry this afternoon in the second match of the 2014 season.

Belmont Abbey's lone win came at number three singles as Brooke Ingram won by retirement when Tara Lamers couldn't finish the match.

The Crusaders are back in action Tuesday when hosting Johnson C. Smith.
