The Belmont Abbey men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at Lees-McRae this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Set scores were 21-25, 11-25 and 15-25. The Bobcats improve to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey slips to 1-7 overall and 1-4 in league play.

Belmont Abbey hit .030 as Spencer Fournell led the way with seven kills with Jon Lowenhagen adding four and one assist. Derek Sullivan handed out 18 assists.

Libero Johnny Gomez led the way with seven digs. Lowenhaged registered four.

At the net Evan Young posted a team-high three block assists with Fournell contributing a pair.

The Crusaders return home Wednesday night when hosting Pfeiffer at 7:30.
