The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team claimed two doubles wins to take an early 2-1 lead, but Coker rallied with four singles victories to edge the Crusaders 5-4 this afternoon.
The doubles team of Brooke Ingram and Bridget Franer gave the Abbey an 8-6 victory at number two, and at number three, the duo of Paige French and Brigid Donohue won a thrilling 9-8 match, winning the tiebreaker 7-2.
At singles, Ingram won for the second-straight match, posting a 6-4, 6-4 victory, and Abbey Poetker won at number six, as she did not drop a set, winning 6-0, 6-0.
