Men's Volleyball Swept At Mount Olive, 3-0

The Belmont Abbey men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at Mount Olive this afternoon in Conference Carolinas action. Set scores were 13-25, 19-25 and 21-25. Mount Olive improves to 7-3 overall and remains unbeaten in Conference Carolinas with a mark of 6-0, while the Abbey drops to 5-6 overall and 2-5 in Conference Carolinas.

Belmont Abbey hit just .156 (25 kills, 13 errors on 77 total attacks) as Griffin O'Camb led the way with seven kills. Dustin Buell added six on 20 attacks with one error (.250), while Nolan Albrecht and Antony Koyfman both toatled five. Derek Sullivan handed out 24 assists.

Defensively the Crusaders posted 25 digs as Albrecht and Aaron DeKalb both led the way with seven. Albrecht also had three block assists, while Koyfman led the way with four.

Mount Olive hit .353 (49 kills, 16 errors on 91 total attacks) as Angel Dache led all players with 14. Alex Rivero added ten, while Tim Ebbecke registered a .900 attack with nine kills on ten attacks and zero errors. Ben Casado handed out 39 assists and posted eight digs. Dan Arnold led all players with 12 digs.
