The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the visiting Pfeiffer Falcons this afternoon at Sacred Heart Courts. The final two singles matches were stopped due to darkness.

The lone Abbey win came at number one singles as Kirstie Jenkins ran her singles record to 4-2 with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Taylor Lindsay.

It is Jenkins's second-straight win and her fourth in the last five matches.
