Belmont Abbey freshman Cassidy Coutinho scored her team leading seventh goal of the year, heading home the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute as the Crusaders women's soccer team earned a 1-0 win at Queens this evening. The win allows the Abbey to clinch the second seed in next week's Conference Carolinas Tournament as it moves to 9-8-0 overall and 8-2-0 in Conference Carolinas, while Queens drops to 8-8-1 overall and 6-3-1 in Conference Carolinas.

The marker is Coutinho's seventh, and her second game winner of the year. The assist is the sixth of the season for Ryczek.

Belmont Abbey held Queens to just two shots in the second half while attempting six to post a 12-5 edge for the match. The Crusaders finished with three corner kicks to just one for the Royals.
