from Tremayne Gates with 6:04 left. Limestone scored the next eight
points to chop the lead down to 14, but that was negated as the
Abbey closed the stanza by scoring the final seven points, on
jumpers from Phillips and Council, and a three-pointer by Ryan
Conrad with 11 seconds left that extended the Abbey's lead to 40-19
at the half.

to go, but the Crusaders scored the next nine points to stretch the
lead back to 27 with 5:19 left.
Limestone never got the deficit below 19 from there, and the
Abbey scored the last three points of the game to produce the 89-67
final.

effort as Charles Blue, who leads Conference Carolinas in
rebounding average per game, led all scorers with 26 points and 12
