CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey saw seven more Conference Carolinas qualifiers come for the 49er Classic as the Crusaders wrapped up the three-day meet across town.

Sam Shilter was the only runner to earn a spot at the league meet, reaching the time in the 800m Run. The other qualifiers came from field events -- Antonio Caggins, Dayzhaun Gooding-Williams and Sekani Coleman in the triple jump, Harrison Krause and Dalton Gould in the pole vault and Davis Powers in the shot put.

Belmont Abbey returns to action next weekend at the Davidson Relays.
