MILL SPRING, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey opened its final meet of the indoor regular season Friday, with a total of seven Conference Carolinas qualifiers split between the pole vault and high jump. Abe McNelly posted marks in both events, finishing fifth and ninth, respectively.

The bulk of the action takes place on Saturday.
