HICKORY, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey closed out the team portion of the regular-season track & field Saturday with eight Conference Carolinas Championship-qualifying standards being met at the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne.

The competition also included the start of the decathlon for Ayden Thompson. It will finish tomorrow with the final five events.
