LENOIR CITY, Tenn. and MARSHVILLE, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team teed off in its final tournaments of the regular season Monday.

One team of Crusaders began play at the Tennessee River Rumble at WindRiver Golf Club while another team competed at the Wildcat Invitational at Eagle Chase Golf Club.

In Tennessee, the Crusaders sit in 15th place overall out of 20 teams. Max Newton and William Muldoon both led the Crusaders with opening rounds of 1-over par 73 while Newton was even par with two holes remaining.

In the Wildcat Invitational, the Crusaders are fourth in the team standings with Harvey Sladden tied for the lead individually after a 3-over par 75 with three other golfers.
