TIGERVILLE, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team got off to a good start Monday as the Crusaders took the first-round lead at the Trailblazer Spring Invitational Monday at Cherokee Valley Country Club.
The Crusaders finished with a 3-over par total of 291 to lead by three shots over host North Greenville.
Kellen Adickes led the Abbey with a 1-under par 71 and is tied for first with NGU's Nolan Witham.
Will Muldoon and
Jack Crawford are just behind at even par. Crawford is competing as an individual for the Crusaders.
Max Newton and
Nick Norman shot 2-over par rounds of 74 while
Eduardo Arango rounded out the team with a 75.
