CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Josh Gulapa is on a school-record pace after the first half of the Decathlon at the 2025 49er Classic hosted by UNCC Charlotte on Thursday. He sits in fifth place overall with a score of 3156

The school record is 5463 points, set by current assistant coach Tomas Cerdeiras in 2017.

Freshman Antonio Caggins is also competing, standing 11th with 2781 points.

The final five events and the first day of the full meet schedule are on Friday.
