WINGATE, N.C. -- Sophomore Elizabeth Young was Belmont Abbey's top runner Saturday as the Crusaders competed in the NCAA Division II Cross Country Southeast Regional Championship.

She finished 49th overall, covering the 6k field in 23:55.21. As a team, The Abbey placed 22nd in the 24-team field.
