SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Elizabeth Young earned a top 20 finish Saturday, placing 16th overall at the Converse Kick-off. The race, held at Milligan Park served as a preview of both the Conference Carolinas Championship and NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
Young finished the 6k race in a time of 23:03.9, placing 16th. As a team, The Abbey was 15th among 25 teams.
The Abbey returns to action on Friday, Oct. 9 at the Royals Challenge. The meet will be held at McAlpine Park in Charlotte.
