BELMONT, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey rallied from two sets down to force a fifth set but King ultimately prevailed 3-2 (25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 19-25, 15-13), in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Wednesday night.

With the result Crusaders fall to 10-13 overall and 6-10 (1-5 Northwest Division) in league play while the Tornado improves to 9-13, 7-8 (3-4).

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Katie Brookins and Jordan Medina each tallied 11 kills. Medina added a career-high 13 digs for her first career double-double.
• Lola Sultenfuss added seven kills, a service ace and a career-best 11 digs. She also had a team-high three blocks.
• Emma Youngblood keyed the offensive attack with 39 assists.
• Kyleigh Coghlan led the team in aces with a pair.
• Mallory Swain led the defense with 17 digs.
