CENTRAL, S.C. -- Renata Bolado tallied seven kills and 19 digs but Southern Wesleyan posted a 3-0 (25-19, 25,-18, 25-22) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Friday night.
With the result, the Crusaders fall to 10-14 overall and 6-11 in league play, while the Warriors improve to 11-9,9-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Katie Brookins led The Abbey with eight kills.
- Chloe Louder hit a team-best .294 with six kills against one error in 17 attempts. She also had one block.
- Emma Youngblood dished out 21 assists and had nine digs.
- Sheridan Young was also credited with nine digs.
- Bolado (2), Young and Kyleigh Coghlan combined for the team's four aces.
