TIGERVILLE, S.C. -- Katie Brookins tallied 15 kills to lead Belmont Abbey but it was not enough as North Greenville earned a 3-1 (25-10, 25-21, 27-29, 25-19) victory over the Crusaders in conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Wednesday night.
With the result, The Abbey falls to 9-12 overall and 5-9 in league play. The Trailblazers improve to 9-12, 7-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brookins hit .184 with 15 kills against eight errors in 38 chances. She also had one assist and one block assist.Â
- Renata Bolado added seven kills and a team-high 18 digs. She also tallied two service aces and two blocks.
- Mallory Swain also has 18 digs and a pair of aces.
- Chloe Lowder was the blocks leader with four, plus had six kills.
- Emma Youngblood dished out a team-high 31 assists, with Maya Swenson chipping in two. Swenson was the team leader in aces with three.
