GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Nathan Gallman covered the 6k course in under 20 minutes to lead Belmont Abbey to a seventh-place finish at the season-opening Furman Invitational Saturday morning. His time of 19:40.4, placed him 43rd overall.

The Crusaders scored 209 points in the race that featured seven Division I teams.

Belmont Abbey returns to action next week at the Converse Kick-off.
