KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- Freshman Michael Bullock finished 13th to lead Belmont Abbey to a third-place team finish at the Spartan Invitational, hosted by UNC Greensboro on Friday afternoon. The meet served as an opportunity to run the same course as the Conference Carolinas Championship, three weeks from today.

Bullock covered the 8k layout in a time of 27:08.6 to top The Abbey's runners for the second time in as many meets.

The final regular-season meet on the schedule is next Friday, when the Crusaders return to McAlpine Park in Charlotte for the Royal Challenge.
