KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- John Hetzel and
Michael Bullock earned all-conference honors by finishing among the top 21 runners Friday, helping Belmont Abbey to a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Championship at the Ivey Redmond Complex. Hetzel was a second-team honoree by placing 12th, while Bullock finished 19th for third-team recognition.
The Crusaders' top five runners combined for 174 points, just 12 points behind North Greenville for sixth. UNC Pembroke won the team title with 42 points.
Belmont Abbey returns to action in two weeks at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship, hosted by Wingate.
