McCORMICK, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the season with the final round of play at the Bearcat Invitational Tuesday.

The Crusaders ended the tournament with a final round 302 and finished in 13th place with an 889 total. Nick Norman and Max Newton led the way for the Crusaders with identical rounds of 75. Eduardo Arango was the top finisher for the Crusaders as he and Evan Eassy finished with final rounds of 76. Evan Eassy rounded out the lineup with a 77.

The Crusaders finished just one shot behind Erskine (888) and and 13 behind Barton (876). North Georgia won the team title (836) followed by West Florida (843) and USC Aiken (854).
