SNOW HILL, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team concluded its season with a third place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship following the final round Tuesday at Cutter Creek Golf Club.
The Crusaders shot its best round of the tournament as a team with a 297 for a three-round total of 900. Belmont Abbey finished just behind Mount Olive (896) for second place and ahead of Erskine (901) for fourth. Barton finished with a 12-under 276 to earn the team title.
Jacob Ferrari closed out his Belmont Abbey career with a final round 75 and finished tied for 10th overall. He was named to the All-Tournament team following the conclusion of play.
Nick Norman and
Will Locey both finished with the low rounds of the day for the Crusaders as each shot a 1-over par 73 in the final round. Norman and Locey finished tied for 17th and 20th, respectively.
Sam Newton and
Connor Rose rounded out the Crusader lineup with final rounds of 76 and 83, respectively.
