MONROE, N.C. — Will Locey  earned his third top 10 finish of the season as he and the rest of the Belmont Abbey men's golf team closed out play at the final round of the Ralph Hargett Memorial Invitational Tuesday at Rolling Hills Country Club.
 
Locey closed the tournament with a final-round 75 to finish the tournament with an even-par 216 which that was good enough to finish tied for eighth individually. He was one of three Crusaders to finish with rounds of 75 along with Nick Norman and Sam Newton.
 
The 'A' team for the Crusaders finished fourth with a three-round total of 889 after closing the tournament with a 304. The 'B' team finished in 16th with a three-round total of 925. Brodie Perry was the top finisher for the Crusaders

• The Belmont Abbey men's golf team will split the squads next Monday and Tuesday.
• One team will compete at the Tennessee River Rumble in Lenoir City, Tenn. while the Abbey is sending two teams to compete at the Falcon Shootout in Greensboro.
• These will be the final tournaments the teams will compete in before the Conference Carolinas Tournament. April 21-23 at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, N.C.
