PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. — Nick Norman earned a Top-20 finish for the Belmont Abbey men's golf team as the team concluded play at the Spring Bulldog Clash at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
Having to complete the second round early in the morning, Norman closed his second round with a 1-under par round of 69 followed by a 72 to finish in a tie for 19th with a three-round total of 212 (+2).
Will Locey was the next-highest finisher with a three-round total of 216 (+6) highlighted by a final-round 66 (4-under par). It was the best round of the tournament for The Abbey.
As a team, the Crusaders finished in a tie for 14th with Davenport and Limestone with a three-round total of 870 (290-298-282).
Host Barton (279-276-284—839) won the team title with Shorter's Blake Henriques (64-70-66—200, -10) winning the medalist title.
