MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. --
Judah Sault posted team highs in scoring, rebounding and assists, but Georgia College used a strong first half to earn a 75-51 victory over Belmont Abbey in men's college basketball action on Saturday. The contest was the final action of the 2024 calendar year for the Crusaders.
With the result, The Abbey falls to 1-5 on the season, while the Bobcats improve to 4-5.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sault tallied 12 points and grabbed six rebounds, while dishing out three assists. His assist total equaled his career best.
- Jordan Patton was the only other Crusader to reach double figures with 11 points.
- Alhousseny Diallo and Daniel Lubamba each grabbed five rebounds
- Belmont Abbey shot 34.8 percent (16 of 46) from the field overall, hitting five of 19 from three-point range.
