SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Freshman Elizabeth Young placed 51st overall at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship Saturday, continuing her streak of top team finishes. She ran the 6k course at Milliken Park in a time of 23:29.9 to lead the Crusaders for the fifth time in six races this year.

As a team, Belmont Abbey placed 18th in the 26-team field.
