FULL RESULTS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Elizabeth Young made her season debut following an injury to lead Belmont Abbey to eighth place at the Royals Challenge Friday afternoon at McAlpine Park. The Crusaders competed in the Blue Division race, which featured a field of Division II and other small colleges.
Young, a 2024 All-Conference Carolinas honoree, ran the 5k course in 19:53.07 to place 14th overall.
Dasha Averkamp also placed in the Top 20 at 18th.
The meet wrapped up the regular season for Belmont Abbey, which next competes at the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Championship in two weeks.Â
