SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Elizabeth Young and Mia Zuniga earned all-conference honors Saturday morning with top 20 finishes at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Championship. Young placed 10th overall in a time of 23:01.2 to earn a spot on the second team, while Zuniga's 19th-place effort  of 23:53.7 made her a third-team selection.13.

As a team, Belmont Abbey finished seventh overall in the 14-team field.

The Crusaders return to Milligan Park in two weeks to compete in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Women's Cross Country Championship.
