SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Nathan Gallman used a strong kick over the final 2k, breaking away from a small pack to finish second overall at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Championships Saturday morning. His time of 25:09.3 earned him first-team all-conference honors and helped the Crusaders to fourth place in the team standings. John Hetzel also earned all-conference honors (second-team) by finishing 14th.

The Crusaders return to Milligan Park in two weeks to compete in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Women's Cross Country Championship.
