CENTRAL, S.C. --
Cailyn Myers had career highs in in both kills and digs but Southern Wesleyan took a 3-1 (25-16, 28-26, 25-27, 25-21) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolina's women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon. The freshman fell just short of a double double with 15 kills and 8 digs.
With the result, The Abbey falls to 6-10 overall and 4-3 in league play. The Warriors improve to to 6-6, 3-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Myers hit .387 with just three errors in 31 attempts.
- Lola Sultenfuss also topped double figures in kills with 11.
- Ella Schellenberg tallied her 11th career double-double -- and fourth this season -- with 17 assists and 10 digs.
- Emma Youngblood came off the bench to register 13 assists and a canine assists.
- Mallory Swain (20) and Bailey Rowe (9) each reached career best for digs.
