PETERSBURG, VA. — Sophomore
Lee Carew put together a strong final round at the Griffin Invitational Tuesday at the Country Club of Petersburg. Carew closed the tournament with a final round of 1-under par 71 and finished in fourth as the top Crusader this week. It is the second career Top 10 finish of his career and his first this season. Additionally,
Jacob Ferrari earned a Top 10 finish after shooting a final-round 77 for a 1-over par total for the tournament.
Will Locey led the way for Belmont Abbey 'B' after shooting an even-par round of 72.
In the team standings, Belmont Abbey A finished in fifth place with a three-round total of 879 while Belmont Abbey B was 11th with a 912 total. Host Saint Leo won the tournament with a 14-under par total of 850 followed by Coker (-3, 861) and Goldey-Beacom (+10, 874). The full results can be found

- Belmont Abbey will have one team competing at the Cateechee Fall Invite in Hartwell, Georgia while the program will have two teams competing at the Fall Upstate Intercollegiate hosted by North Greenville in Greer, South Carolina. Both tournaments will take place on October 2 and 3.
