CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Alex Winiarczyk and Brian Knoerr each had seven kills, but Queens connected for a .330 hitting percentage to earn 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) victory over Belmont Abbey in non-conference men's volleyball action Friday night.

The result snapped a five-match winning streak by The Abbey and evened the overall record at 13-13. The Royals are also at .500 with a 12-12 mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Crusaders hit just .156 with just 29 kills, five above their season low.
• Matthew Maxwell had three of the team's four aces, while dishing out 24 assists.
• Matteo Miselli registered a team-high seven digs and one ace.
• Winiarczyk and Knoerr chipped in six digs each.
