MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -- Matteo Miselli and Matthew Staskunas both reached double figures in kills as Belmont Abbey earned a 3-1 victory over Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.

By extending their winning streak to a season-long six matches, the Crusaders improve to 13-12 overall and 7-4 in league play while the Trojans fall to 8-13, 4-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Miselli hit .306 with 22 kills against seven errors in 49 chances. He also added five digs and a pair of service aces.
• Staskunas was credited with 17 kills and eight digs.
• Daniel Cerqua tallied 13 digs and four assists.
• Matthew Maxwell dished out 43 assists, while added three kills and an ace. He also registered nine digs and added four blocks.
• Belmont Abbey hit .267 as a team, compared to .209 for UMO.
• With the win, The Abbey guaranteed itself a spot in the Conference Carolinas Tournament next month.
