WILSON, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey jumped out to a two-set lead, then hung on for a 3-2 (25-21, 25-16, 15-25, 19-25, 15-13) victory over Barton in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Friday night.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 12-12 overall and 6-4 in league play, while the Bulldogs fall to 3-14, 3-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Matteo Miselli and Ethan Rehmann both reached double figures in kills with 14 and 12, respectively. Rehmann hit .476 with just two errors in 21 chances.
- Matthew Maxwell dished out 50 assists, while registering three kills and three block assists.
- Daniel Cerqua led the defensive effort with 12 digs.
