BELMONT, N.C. -- Senior Cameron Young hit .391 with a season-high 22 kills and added 13 kills, leading Belmont Abbey to a 3-1 (19-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-21) Senior Day victory over Erskine in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.

With the results, the Crusaders improve to 5-18 overall and 5-10 in league play and almost certainly guaranteed a berth in next weekend's Conference Carolinas Tournament. The Flying Fleet fall to 5-22, 4-12.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Young's double-double was her third of the season, while her kill total was just one shy of her career. She had just four errors in 46 attempts. She also had an ace and two assists.
• Ella Schellenberg dished out 39 assists and had 12 digs. It was her seventh double-double of the year.
• Seniors Jenna McCullough and Sarah Wilson tallied eight and six kills, respectively. They also each had a block.
• Freshman Tyler Case led the defensive effort with 17 digs, while also adding eight kills.
• Senior Alyssa Adkins served six aces on her 21 attempts in the match. The Crusaders finished with 12 as team.
• Senior Trinity Bradley started the match as libero and had two digs and a service ace in one set of action.
• The sixth senior honored in the pregame ceremony was Haley Davidson, who missed the contest with an injury.
