Cameron Young and
Jenna McCullough tallied eight kills apiece, but it was not enough as league-leading North Greenville earned a 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-22) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.
The result leaves The Abbey with a record of 2-14, 2-6, while North Greenville stands at 16-4, 8-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ella Schellenberg dished out 25 assists.
- Lola Sultenfuss registered six kills and led the team with a pair of blocks. She hit a team-best .462 with no errors in 13 chances.
- Tyler Case led the defensive effort with 10 digs, while Lily Marsh added eight. Case also served three aces.
- Belmont Abbey hit .167 as a team.
