CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Savannah Willis was the top finisher for Belmont Abbey Friday afternoon as the Crusaders took seventh place of 24 teams in the Blue Division of the Royals Challenge, hosted by Queens at McAlpine Park.

The junior from Flowery Branch, Ga., finished the 5k course in 20:47.7 to place 34th in the 164-runner field.
