Cameron Young added nine kills, but Converse prevailed with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-17) victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Tuesday night. The match marked the final road game of the season for the Crusaders, who close with a pair of home games in the next week.
With the result, The Abbey falls to 4-18 overall and 4-10 in league play, while the Valkyries improve to 8-17, 7-6.
