MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --
Cameron Young tallies 11 kills and seven digs but the effort was not enough as Mount Olive took a 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-20) decision over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon.
With the result, the Crusaders fall to 4-17 overall and 4-9 in league play, while the Trojans improve to 18-9, 12-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Young's kill total was a team-high, while her digs were tied for second-most on the squad. She also tallied The Abbey's only ace and had one block.
- Tyler Case added seven kills and seven digs.
- Grace McClure dished out 11 assists, while Ella Schellenberg added seven.
- Jenna McCullough and McClure also registered blocks.
